Chicken Stuffed Bread Buns

Make snacking delightful! Filled with baked chicken, a spicy sauce and mozzarella. These stuffed buns are all you need for a satisfying in between munch.


Ingredients

For Bread Dough

2 cups flour

3 tablespoon sugar

11/2 teaspoon salt

1 whole egg

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

3 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder


Chicken Marinade

1 1/2 cup chicken or (paneer)

4 tbsps sour cream

1/2 tsp paprika powder

1/2 tsp cumin powder

1/2 tsp grated ginger

1/2 tsp garlic minced

Salt as per taste


Filling Mixture

1/2 cup cooked chicken

1/2 cup broccoli

1-2 tsp chilly sauce

5-6 tsp mayonnaise

1 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

1-2 tsp parsley

1 tsp chilly flakes


Toppings

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

1 tbsp dried Parsley

1/2 tsp chilly flakes

Steps:

1. Bloom the yeast with sugar and milk. 

Mix dry ingredients and mix into a crumble. Add beaten egg and mix in the yeast mixture. 

Make a soft dough knead well, cover and keep aside for 1 hour in a warm place or until the dough doubles in size.

2. In the meantime in a bowl mix all the filling ingredients and keep it aside.


3. Take out the dough to knead it a few times onto a lightly floured surface, cut into 8 equal halves.


4. Roll out each portion into a circle about

4 to 5 inches and add 2 tablespoons of the filling mixture in the rolled dough. Start pinching the edges together and seal the dough into a ball, keeping the sealed side down, place it on the parchment lined baking sheet to hold it shape.


5. Leave the stuffed dough balls to rise again for 20 to 30 minutes.

6. Make a clean crust cross cut in the middle of the buns.



7. Add a little parsley, shredded cheese and top with chilly flakes. Apply egg wash all over.


8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees f for 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.


Serve warm fresh out of the oven with your favorite sauce.
